Mr. Borden Roger Putnam, III has been a director of Meryllion Resources since October 2013. Mr. Putnam currently serves as a Partner and Principal Analyst at Mione Capital. Previously, Mr. Putnam was a Partner and Principal Analyst at Eastbourne Capital Management, L.L.C. and was at Eastbourne from July 2001 to January 2009. Prior to Eastbourne, he served as a Principal and Analyst at RS Investment Management from 1996 to 2001. From 1991 to 1996, he served as Vice President of Geology and Chief Geologist for MRDI (now Amec), an international mining consulting firm. From 1982 to 1984, and 1984 to 1991, Mr. Putnam served as Senior Geologist and District Manager - Mid-Continent (Rolla, MO) and then Eastern Great Basin (Elko, NV), respectively, for Newmont Exploration. He began his career as a geologist at AMAX Exploration in 1975 working in the Rocky Mountains and Great Basin, and during 1980 to 1982 was Project Geologist based in Salem, MO. Mr. Putnam has been a Director of Mirasol Resources Ltd., since December 2012. Mr. Putnam served as a Director at Concordia Resource Corp., from January 25, 2011 until December of 2013. He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) and Chairs the SEG Foundation Student Field Trip Committee, and is Member of AAPG and SME. Mr. Putnam is a Registered Professional Geologist in California (No. 5738) and Wyoming (PG-1950). He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Geology and Geology-Geochemistry from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Mr. Putnam chairs the Company's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and Technical Committee. He also sits on the Company's Compensation Committee and Audit Committee.
Mr. Fognani has been a director of Meryllion Resources since October 2013, and prior to that time was a director of Concordia Resource Corp. from mid-2010 to December 2013. Mr. Fognani was most recently Executive Vice President-Legal and General Counsel for Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. and Ivanhoe Capital Corporation and, among other things, was instrumental in assisting with the development of the Oyu Tolgoi copper/gold mine in Mongolia. He is also the original founding member of the law firm that bears his name in Denver, Fognani & Faught PLLC. After graduating from Northwestern University Law School in Chicago, the focus of his professional experience has been in the areas of natural resources and environmental law, with extensive transactional, administrative, client counseling, litigation and appellate experience. In his years of private practice, Mr. Fognani has been lead counsel in a number of highly visible, complex litigated matters, including, for example, State of Colorado v. Asarco Incorporated; United States v. Rockwell Int'l; American Mining Congress v. United States Environmental Protection Agency; STOP v. Marathon Ashland Pipeline Co.; and United States v. Friedland. Mr. Fognani is listed in Best Lawyers in America in numerous categories, and in Who's Who of American Lawyers, the International Who's Who of Business Lawyers, Colorado Super Lawyers and Top Lawyers in Colorado. Mr. Fognani is the chair of Meryllion Resource's Compensation Committee. He also sits on the Company's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and Audit Committee.
